While researching for techniques and typefaces i came across this poster which i really like.

I really like how the letters are de stressed by the print technique .

ELVIS POSTER

In my editorial piece the most important thing was to choose a typeface that represent my main idea effectively and to communicate legibly. while looking at different posters and magazine designs i came across to Elvis's poster which has influenced me in my choice of font (FRANKLIN GOTHIC)

Looking at Carson's work

David Carson

David Carson is one of my main influences.

I always go back and look at his work in any sort of projects. I look at his ideas, concepts, visuals and techniques that he uses in his designs. 

This particular piece was a big influence to me in the Editorial project.

smoking ads

anti smoking adverts campaign is one of my favorite campaign.
I find it very interesting and creative they are shockingly straight to the point.

These are some of the ads that I really like.

Each advert contain different fact about how bad smoking is and what could it lead to.

REDdog

i love this typeface which has been designed by Glorious 

it has a strong charecter about it and the fact its called reddog and its in red gives it a stronger character.

the type face works creatively with all application 

its one of my best peice of design that has been created by glorious.

IS

I really liked the use of white space in the book, i also liked the colours which drags the eyes from the to the word.

I loved the typeface a lot as it works well with the fact the the black colour is only in have. i think it reflected it really dramatically

REZA ABEDINI
IS ONE OF THE DESIGNERS THAT INFLUENCE ME.
I LOVE THE WAY HE COMBINE IRANIAN TYPOGRAPHY WITH ENGLISH TYPOGRAPHY.
HE CREATIVELY APPROACH PROBLEMS AND VISUALIZE IT TO COMMUNICATE.

HERE IS SOME OF HIS WORK THAT I FOUND VERY INTERESTING.

It shows how flexible the design is and how the designer could take one deign to different areas.

I love the text lay out and the choice of the typeface it works so well to strike the viewer and emphasis the massages. the kerning between the type is creativly designed too go with the use of white space.
i am so interesting in palying with language to create art which involve typography with no image.

i really liked the website and the way its been lay out .. 

the background created a dramatic effect to the feel of the website ...

i like some their work specially the egypt project in term off colours, type, and illustration.

ahmed mustafa

 am interested in typography English and Arabic they both have completely  different characters.

while researching artist that are exploring the beauty of arabic type, I came a cross Ahmed Mustafa an egyptian artist. I am not in to his calligraphy(short religious phrases  in a shape of animals) but this particular design has the stencil touch in to it using the type as an image.  He layered the same word several time to give this style yet they look precise.
